Sessions with couples, family groups or individuals usually last between one and one and a half hours. They may be held weekly, fortnightly or monthly, according to client need and preference.

Fees range between £50-£60 an hour.

Most sessions are held at The Family Workshop's consulting rooms in Lewes and Kingston, East Sussex.  Home visits may also be arranged in exceptional circumstances.

Confidentiality: Issues discussed at The Family Workshop will remain confidential unless

• the client gives their permission to share information with other professionals (GPs, solicitors etc) 
• the therapist believes someone, especially a child, is at risk of serious harm.

Prioritising client need: In the interests of its clients, The Family Workshop may occasionally decline services to those it feels would be best served by other agencies. In such circumstances, The Family Workshop therapists will endeavour to suggest other relevant agencies and services.
